Janssen Neerkant was founded by H. Th. Janssen, the grandfather of the current generation of the Janssen family which is now involved in the company. His main activities included the pig trade. When his sons took over the company, they expanded the activities to transportation. In this way Janssen Neerkant was able to offer a complete package of services to their customers. Business wasn’t limited anymore to the purchase and sale of animals; by adding a self-owned transportation company, Janssen Neerkant could also directly deliver the animals to the customer, in the Netherlands as well as in foreign countries.

Since 1997 the third generation of the Janssen family became involved in the company and this implicated once again a further expansion of the concern. Besides pig trade and international livestock transportation Janssen Neerkant BV now also features an EU approved animal collecting place for exportation purposes. Naturally this area contains an acknowledged roofed cleaning and disinfection location and a calibrated 60 tons weighbridge. Every piece of our equipment disposes of all required certificates regarding inspection and quality. Of course this also goes for all of our manpower.

Recently, the 4th generation is active and is working on the future.
